Old Stone Church

Prints by Jen Niles

Local artist Jen Niles has created this print of the Old Stone Church to raise funds to help West Boylston schools in their arts programs. This print of the Old Stone Church in West Boylston is 14" wide and 10" high.   Jen calls the process “digital scratchboard”.  Taking a black surface in Photoshop and digitally "scratching" the design into it, for an old-fashioned look.

Jen Niles is a self-taught artist living and working in Paxton.  She has been drawing all her life, and for many years concentrated on pen & ink illustrations including commissioned house portraits.  In 2011, she began experimenting with acrylics, inspired by the comical antics and effortless elegance of her two cats, PK and Nellie.  From there, Jen developed a recognizable, whimsical style featuring bold color and cheerful subjects from everyday life.  Whether it is her cats, my young son or my surroundings here at home in New England, she finds inspiration for her art.

This print is being sold to raise funds for the West Boylston Arts Foundation.   Each 10” X 14” print is available for $35 at Jen’s Etsy store: http://www.etsy.com/listing/178068407/digital-scratchboard-style-print-of-old?ref=shop_home_active_1

Your signed print will be packaged in a protective sleeve with a backing board and artist bio.  Jen is donating 50% of her profits from sales of the Old Stone Church to the WBAF to support our school arts programs.
